I made this app because a ballot is too much for a normal person to process quickly.
On November 3 a voter decides statewide offices, ballot measures, a member of Congress, state legislators, county offices, and often city, school and district races too. That means sifting through names, parties, donors, promises, Trump positions, AIPAC ties, viability, and controversies, for every single race.
This app turns all of that into one searchable, private guide for family and friends. Every claim links to its source and shows how much to trust it. Pick your districts, compare the facts, mark your picks, and share them.
Voting blindly is crazy, but researching every race by hand is unrealistic. This makes the ballot easier to understand before you vote. It is a starting point, not the last word: check anything that matters to you.
Privacy. Signing in shares your Google email with the site owner. When you request access you also give a first and last name and, if you choose, a phone number. The owner uses these to approve your access, to email you when your access or an area you asked for is ready, and, if you tick the box, to tell you about future projects. Your ZIP code and your picks are saved to your account so they come back on any device; nobody else can see them in the app. ZIP codes that get researched are listed for everyone so others in the same area can use them. Anonymous error and speed reports (no name, email or account id) are kept for 30 days. Google Analytics sets a cookie that counts visits; it never receives your name, email or account id, and ad features are off. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else. To be removed, ask the person who shared this guide with you: your access record, picks and messages are deleted, and the private log of access decisions keeps only an account id.
